Overview
Kadence offers interactive calculators to help life insurance agents and agencies think through the potential value of faster follow-up, better retention, and related outcomes. This page explains what those calculators do, the assumptions behind them, and how to read the figures they produce. It applies to every calculator on https://www.startkadence.com, including the return-on-investment tools on our feature pages.
The Figures Are Estimates
Every number a calculator shows is an illustrative estimate generated from the inputs you enter. Several inputs, such as the share of leads recovered by faster response or the portion of leads currently lost to slow follow-up, are modeling assumptions based on general industry patterns, not audited statistics and not a measurement of your business. Where a calculator lets you adjust those assumptions, we encourage you to set them to match your own experience.
Not A Guarantee Or Financial Advice
The output is not a promise, forecast, or guarantee of income, revenue, or results. It is an educational estimate meant to help you frame a decision, not a projection you should rely on. Kadence does not provide financial, tax, legal, or insurance advice, and nothing produced by a calculator should be treated as such. Consult a qualified professional before making business or financial decisions.
How The Numbers Are Calculated
Each calculator multiplies the figures you enter through a simple chain. For the lead-recovery tools, for example, monthly leads are multiplied by an estimated share lost to slow follow-up, then by an estimated recovery share, a close rate, and an average commission to arrive at an illustrative recovered amount. The exact steps and assumptions are shown on each calculator and can be adjusted where noted. The math is deliberately transparent so you can judge it against your own numbers.
Your Results Will Vary
Actual outcomes depend on your market, your products, your team, your pricing, and your process, none of which a calculator can know. Two agencies entering the same inputs may see very different real-world results. Use these tools to understand the shape of an opportunity, not to predict what you will earn.
